Dr. Marilyn Coleman, Curators’ Distinguished Professor Emerita, served the Department of Human Development and Family Science for decades as professor, director of graduate studies, department chair, and mentor to hundreds of students.
The Marilyn Coleman Alumni Graduate Scholarship in Human Development and Family Science annually supports graduate students enrolled in the Department of Human Development and Family Science. Established by Dr. Coleman upon receipt of the National Council on Family Relations’ 2013 Felix Berardo Mentoring Award, this scholarship or graduate assistantship carries on the spirit of Dr. Coleman’s career-long dedication to mentoring students.
