The Mizzou Family has lost a valued member with the recent passing of Dr. David A. West. Dr. West was a professor and former chair of our Finance Department and taught more than 11,000 students during his remarkable 44-year tenure at the Trulaske College of Business. He was a noted scholar, researcher and professor and brought both prestige and recognition to Mizzou. To his students, he was a mentor and a tireless advocate. To honor Dr. West’s commitment to helping students succeed in the business world, his family, friends, colleagues, and students have joined together to create a scholarship to carry on his legacy.
