Dr. Phillips' service as a MU faculty member has been distinguished and extraordinary. Ronn is known as a beloved teacher who has had a significant influence on many undergraduate and graduate students. Over a decade ago, he unselfishly donated his personal power tools to establish a woodshop for students to have hands-on experiences with building materials. As a result of his commitment, he transformed a basement storage area in Gentry Hall into a workshop with commercial-grade equipment as we know it today. It was his passion to develop the related curriculum to make sure all our students had this sanctuary in which to create.
Ronn Phillips has announced his retirement from the University of Missouri. To recognize Ronn as he retires, contributions can be made to the Building Technology Lab Fund in his honor. Please join us in saying thank you!
